Believer’s baptism and / or confirmation offer significant ways for older children and adults to express their faith in Jesus. In The Rivers Team we are exploring the possibility of inviting the bishop to a service where church members have the opportunity to be baptised, to re-affirm their baptism vows or to be confirmed.
Baptism (by full immersion)
For those who have not previously been baptised as children or adults
Re-affirmation of baptism vows (by full immersion)
For those who have been previously baptised and for various reasons wish to re-affirm their Christian commitment.
For those who were baptised as infants, or as adults in another denomination, and who wish to express their commitment to the Anglican church. It is normal, though not essential, for those receiving communion in the Anglican church, to be confirmed.
